Stamp Duty Land Tax rates are changing from 1st April 2025, when temporary increases to the thresholds implemented in September 2022 come to an end. These changes are going to impact all purchasers, with first time buyers being the most affected. Therefore, for any property purchases that complete on or before 31 March 2025 the SDLT we have quoted, is likely going to be lower because we have based our quote on the new rates. Any new quotes will not be completed before the end of March 2025.

We would stress that we are unable to offer an expedition service, and we cannot offer any guarantee that your transaction will complete before the changes take effect.
